Police are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle in Amesbury.
The incident happened in Stockbarrow overnight on Wednesday 7 December.
A window of a Land Rover Discovery was smashed. Nothing was stolen from inside.
PC Richard Chula from Amesbury Police Station said: “Fortunately, nothing was stolen from the vehicle but the damage has caused a lot of disruption and inconvenience to the owner.
“I’d like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area, especially within the car parks in the estate.
“I’d also like to urge members of the public to keep an eye out for similar incidents over the festive period, where opportunistic thieves may be out and about causing disruption to unsuspecting members of the public.
“Please ensure all vehicles are locked and parked in well-lit areas where possible and ensure all valuables are removed or locked away out of sight.”
