Wiltshire Police is appealing for information regarding a fatal collision which occurred on the A303 near Stonehenge yesterday, Tuesday 27 December 2016.
At approximately 8:00 pm a collision occurred between a Landrover and a Toyota. All three emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for some eight hours.
The driver of the Toyota, a 28 year old woman from Hampshire, sadly died at the scene. Her family have been informed.
The occupants of the Landrover, a man, woman and two children were also taken to Salisbury District Hospital. The man and woman did not sustain any life threatening injury and fortunately the children are ok.
