Police Appeal Over Storage Container Burglary

Local News | Police Appeal Over Storage Container Burglary | Andover & VillagesOfficers are appealing for information regarding a burglary which occurred at the Kings Gate development in Amesbury.

Sometime between 7:30 pm on Friday 6 - 7:30 am Saturday 7 January 2017 the offender(s) forced entry to storage containers and stole a number of tools and equipment. Items stolen include drills, spirit levels and a pedestrian roller (used for pavements and driveways) the full list of stolen property is still under investigation.

PC Emma Smith said: "I would be interested to hear from any members of the public or nearby residents who heard noises coming from the site during this time frame or saw anything suspicious, particularly after midnight. I would also like to speak to anyone who is offered second-hand tools such as drills, spirit levels for sale."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Emma Smith at Amesbury Police Station on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where details may be left anonymously if preferred.
