Local News | Police Appeal Over 'Ringing the Changes' Crime | Andover & VillagesPolice are appealing for information regarding an incident which occurred in the Co-op store, Boscombe Road, Amesbury.

Shortly after 6:30 pm on 8 January 2017 a man paid for low priced items and deliberately confused the cashier asking for several other notes to be changed in what police describe as 'ringing the changes'. This resulted in him fraudulently obtaining approximately £87.

CCTV images of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident are attached.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Lydia Davis at Amesbury Police Station on 101. Or call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where details may be left anonymously if preferred.
