Local News | Police Appeal - Thousands of Pounds of Criminal Damage | Andover & VillagesPolice are appealing for witnesses following extensive criminal damage caused to the new housing units on the Kings Gate estate, Amesbury.

The offenders gained entry overnight on Wednesday 26 April and caused extensive damage by smashing windows, doors, kitchen units, light fittings, sockets, walls, metal frameworks and fire extinguishers along with offensive graffiti scrawled on walls.

PC Richard Chula is investigating said: "This is senseless damage estimated at over £5000, it may well have been caused by more than one person. I would like to hear from anyone who saw any activity within the new section of the housing estate after close of business on Wednesday."
