Local News | Police Hunt Amesbury Man | Andover & VillagesPolice are appealing for the public's help in locating a man they would like to speak to in connection with a number of offences.

William George Thomas Smith, 36, whose last known address was Boscombe Down Road, in Amesbury, failed to appear at court on 15 September 2017.

Officers want to speak to him in connection with a number of domestic violence offences.

He is described as white, around 6ft 1in tall, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Smith is believed to be in the Amesbury or Devizes areas.

He is known to be violent and members of the public should not approach him directly, but should contact the police on 999 immediately if they see him, stating where he was and which direction his was travelling in.

Also, anyone with any additional information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101. Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, where information can be left anonymously.
