We are appealing for information to help identify a man in relation to an incident in Amesbury.
Between 11am and 11.40am on 11 September, a man entered the McColl's newsagents in Salisbury Road. He presented the shop assistant with a £50 to pay for tobacco and cigarette papers.
When challenged by the member of staff who suspected the note to be counterfeit, the man walked out of the store, leaving behind the £50 note.
The man is described as white with a tanned complexion, aged mid to late 20s. He was approximately 5 ft 6 inches tall and had dark hair. He was wearing a green jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.
We'd like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident.
