Local News | Give the Gift of Choice & Control this Christmas | Andover & VillagesLeading disability charity Enham Trust, based in the idyllic village of Enham Alamein near Andover, has launched a campaign asking members of the public to give a different kind of gift this Christmas, as the festive period leaps into full swing.

The campaign, aptly named ‘Christmas at Enham Trust’, shows the tangible and often incredible difference even the smallest of donations can make to the people the charity supports; offering thanks to current and past supporters for their gifts.

“This campaign serves to highlight the difference donations make to the individuals we support,” comments Kerrie Morley, Income Generation Co-Ordinator. “From supporting someone to improve their communication skills through dance & drama, to maintaining their strength and mobility through physiotherapy; all contributing to putting choice, control, and independence back into the hands of the individual.”

Anyone wishing to learn more about the campaign, ‘Christmas at Enham Trust’, or make a donation can do so by visiting: or by taking to the Trust’s social media:, to watch a series of short, festive videos.

Resident at Enham Trust, Alex, who uses a wheelchair, says of the support she’s received from the charity, in partnership with Hobbs Physiotherapy:

“I have been over the moon with the progression I have made so far, I wouldn’t have believed that I would be able to walk alone this time last year, however with the fantastic help from the lovely Hobbs Physiotherapy team, I can now start doing that.”

Enham Trust currently supports thousands of disabled people across the country each year in every area of their lives by providing housing, care, and various employment & skills opportunities to ensure each customer gains independence, choice, and control over daily decisions.
