Local business awards ceremony to launch in March…
After the incredible success of its 12th year, the Test Valley Business Awards is returning in March 2017. The launch, together with free business networking event, will take place at The White Horse Hotel and Brasserie, Romsey.
The Awards, which saw 160 entries for 2016, across 6 categories, including “Doing Business Locally” and, for the first time, “Women in Business”, encompasses Test Valley enterprises of all shapes and sizes, from start-ups to multinational corporations, come together to celebrate achievement and foster new working relationships.
James Dawes of Dawes Highway Safety Ltd., 2016 winner of the New Business of the Year Award, commented upon winning:
“It wasn't only a great honour to be awarded the 'New Business of the Year Award', it was also a hugely welcome confidence boost for everyone involved in our new company. Start-up business can be a lonely place and to have received recognition at this high level has helped reassure us that we are on the right path to success.”
Now in its 13th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of business volunteers, supported by the Council – has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.
