The winner of the first Test Valley Business Awards 2018 entry prize has been announced…
With this year's Test Valley Business Awards in full swing, now is the time to enter one or more of the 6 award categories.
As well as entering your own business why not nominate a business you are impressed with as a customer, supplier or associate so we can all celebrate their achievements?
By entering now you have the chance to win an assortment of prizes, given to entrants chosen at random throughout the entry period.
The first of several such prizes during the period was chosen this week at Wine Utopia in Stockbridge by Caroline Stevens, Sales & Marketing Manager at Danebury Vineyards, and kind donor of this year's very first entry prize - 2 bottles of the Vineyard's finest wine.
Picking a name entirely at random, Caroline announced James Gibbons of Link Creator Limited as the winner of this wonderful prize.
The Test Valley Business Awards 2018 awards categories and Gold Sponsors are:
" Innovation & Technology Award - The University of Southampton Science Park
" New Business of the Year Award - Test Valley Borough Council
" Doing Business Locally Award - Taylored IT
" Small Business of the Year Award - Wilkins Kennedy
" Employer of the Year Award - Simplyhealth
" Businesswoman of the Year Award
Caroline Stevens of Danebury Vineyards commented of the Test Valley Business Awards:
"As a supporter of The Test Valley Business Awards, I encourage local businesses to take part in this initiative, I have seen the difference it makes to businesses that take part in the competition and who win the awards.''
To enter and be in with a chance of winning subsequent entry prizes, businesses are asked to visit: www.tvbawards.org.uk/enternominate/ by 11th May, and fill in the simple online form with 200 - 250 words about your business against the relevant category judging criteria, which can also be found on the Awards' website.
The Awards is free to enter; taking just minutes to fill in the online form which, if successfully chosen as a winner, could lead to a full 12 months of business promotion across the Test Valley.
Businesses are encouraged to enter as many categories as possible before the entry & nomination period ends at midnight on 11th May.
Now in its 14th year, the Test Valley Business Awards - run by a steering group of volunteers - has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.
